I have been staying at the Lake George Inn for over 15 years. The owner Dan is very nice and will accommodate his guests to make them happy. It's a nice, basic hotel with pool, fridges, HBO and Wi-Fi. It's within walking distance of the village of Lake George and with the low cost of the rooms, it leaves more money for fun stuff!

Loved this motel. Staff was friendly. The inn was in walking distance from the town. It was also right off the highway which was a plus. The room was clean and the cleaning service was fantastic. The price was cheap for everything you got with his hotel. Will def. Stay here agian.
We just spent 2 nights in this hotel and we will never go back! First of all "sparse" doesn't even do the description justice ! There were 2 nightstands, but only one had a lamp, so I couldn't even read in bed! Towels were sparse too, one hand towel for 2 people! The rooms were old and dingy and needed updates badly! The housekeeping was "sparse " as well! The bed was thrown together! The fitted sheet was barely around the corners of the bed and the sheets and blankets weren't even tucked in, with the "comforter" thrown on top and not even smoothed out! It certainly wasn't inviting as the first thing you see when you walk in! We had either a herd of elephants or a family with multiple children running back and forth till 1:30a.m ! I tried to use the phone e to call the front desk to complain. The phone turned out to be "sparse" as well! There were no numbers on it to call the front desk. There was no such thing as housekeeping and dialing "0" just got you a busy signal! Apparently the phone was just for show!! The only good thing about the "hotel" was that it was within walking distance to the town. Next time we go to Lake George we will be more careful when choosing a place to stay!
