I don't know what it is, but I love this place. Can't put my finger on what it is exactly as it is all round awesome, but there is a magic to this place and when you get your bonfire going, your BBQ dinner down the hatch and settle in with your line-up of choice beers... you won't even notice the mosquitoes... if there are any... but you will feel that magic. Then you will come on here to write a review and find yourself at a loss for words. Make sure to camp here at least once in your life. It's magic.
Lots of fun things to do here. A pool, significant playground, basketball court and much more. Everything was in full functioning order. And of course, it's right down the road from Lake George and the main road with all the shops, etc.
Great place. Super quiet. Close to the highway and the village. Sites are very shaded. Nice pool area and outdoor activities.
Pricey for an RV park. And it includes additional charges depending on the people included in your family.
Great family camp ground! My wife and two girls have been coming here for the past two years and will continue to do so for years to come. They have two big pools one kiddy pool and one regular. Also a playground and a rec hall. The bathrooms and shower stalls are always clean and tidy. The camp sites are made of coarse sand and are raked smooth and clean before you arrive. This is are family favorite camp site,and I can't say enough good things about it.
Our site wasn't exactly a pull through. Perhaps if my RV was half the length it would have worked. I had to go around and back in.
The park is clean, but be prepared to deal with significant hills that are not paved. Take it slow.
Love this place. Visit every year for Car show weekend. Great sites, reasonable prices.
Overall, worth the stay.
