One of my best bakery experiences. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Reasonably priced baked goods. The eclairs rock! Will visit when we return, but in the mean time I will have goods shipped to me.
Bought a cake here. Unfortunately, not only was the girl rude(there bakery worker, not the cashier) but after actually asking her for a colored happy birthday, the response was, "she'll have to use what she has" and then uses a color that looks not only ridiculous, but couldn't even read the message. Terrible. Waste of $30 bucks.
I had a last minute cake emergency and needed to find someone local to make a wedding cake for my wedding at Burlap & Beams in Athol 2 weeks before my wedding this past July. Even though Debbie was absolutely swamped she said it would be no issue and she would make it happen.. I gave her an idea of what I wanted and sure enough when we showed up that day our cake was delivered set up and beautiful and it tasted absolutely amazing! I was so thankful. Thank you a million Debbie, you really saved the day!
Coffee was great, pastry was great, I had a cannoli and a Neapolitan, my wife had a raspberry danish, I wish I could have one of each, the staff was very nice to us. We sat inside in the a.c., or you can sit outside, seating is very limited. Best breakfast so far, all these other places in LG are tourist traps, they take your money for an overpriced meal and wait for the next victim.
Had their chocolate eclair and lobster tail. Both were so delicious and decadent! I live close to NYC and have indulged in many pastries from various pastry shops but this place beats them all by far. Try it and I'm sure you'll love it :-)
